After the Introduction of the Home Oxygen Service Linda Riordan the Halifax
Labour MP tried to get a debate on the service, however she did not get enough
signatures. Here below is the list of the 92 MP's who at that time wanted to
discuss the Home Oxygen Service. We will be e-mailing them to highlight the
issues.

The motion was .
That this House expresses serious concern at
the decision to transfer the delivery of oxygen away from local pharmacies
to private companies; regrets that this means the provision will not be
made by these pharmacies, who were community-based and aware of patients'
needs; is concerned that the 60,000 people across the country who rely on
oxygen will now have to wait longer to receive their supplies; and calls
on the Government to think again about this decision, as well as resisting
any future plans to move away from localised provision of key health
services such as these. |
