Some interesting organisations and hopefully helpful links.
- The Royal Brompton and Harefield Trust
is a wonderful hospital which has helped so many people with chest problems.
The Doctors, Nurses, Physio's and all other staff are the people I and many
others owe so much to.
- CHAD: Innovative Oxygen
Solutions are the company that are at the forefront in the States of
providing the gear for living with Oxygen. The conservers and other equipment
that have enabled many people to lead quite full lives. In the states we have
2 main systems being the Liquid Oxygen and also the fascinating
Total O2
system which is a Concentrator that re-fill your portable cylinders. So that
is quite a neat idea. These were the people that provided the Oxylite that
enabled us to enjoy life.
- For Liquid Oxygen we see the main equipment providers are
Caire Medical and
Puritan Bennett the Helios suppliers. This shows what is available in the
states. Note all the different sizes of Liquid Oxygen Reservoirs.
- Breathless with COPD
is an excellent site run by a contributor and really worth seeing as a
resource.
- British Lung Foundation is the
group that should be promoting our interests.
- Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the
group that looks the interests of our CF Friends. What an excellent and
dynamic Charity that involves and acts for it's members. They have done a
great job.
- Parliament Home Page | Houses of
Parliament To find your MP, Please write to them and let them know your
issues.
- Bronchiectasis -
Patient UK is the condition I suffer from. If you need to know more about
it here is some information.
- The King's Fund is an
independent charitable foundation working or better health.
- The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of
Great Britain is the main professional and regulatory body.
- The National Pharmacy Association
represents the community pharmacists whose knowledge and professionalism kept
us healthy and confident.
- Is the NHS in the process of being privatised the
Keep Our NHS Public
and also the Campaign for Health
Service Democracy sites show what is going on.
- The
NHS Support federation is another body campaigning for the NHS and our
campaign is featured there. Also what is the true cost?? Take a look at this

- There is also a specific Pharmacy led group in
dotPharmacy: Choice in Oxygen
campaign which was set up to lobby for a say in the changes.
