- Apparently in the South West there is a shortage of lightweight cylinders Click to contact John - How are you getting on? - The companie's say you just have to ask. So ask and let us know how you get on

Currently we understand that there are still issues with people getting enough lightweight Oxygen. The number of people buying Portable Concentrators indicate that people are still not getting what they need. We are aware of some issues with the provision of these devices. Also we are aware of excuses given by firms for not providing Liquid Oxygen.  This Latest Article from Pulse underlines much of our Argument about Control.

The HOOF form - An Order Form or a Request form. Some tips to get what you need. Fill in as much as you can before you see the Doctor. This will help you to get what you need. Always tick the lightweight box if you want to walk around with Oxygen. Always make an allowance for Hospital trips. The Oxygen companies say you only need to ask. But what do you ask for?  Click here for more background.

Holidays - Do we have the confidence to go away? My recent experience of Cornwall was Portable Oxygen Cyclistexcellent thanks to BOC/Vitalair. I have also been to the Lakes using Air Products and the New Forest with Allied Respiratory. So 3 different companies and 3 good experiences. However others have had a different experience.  Also some useful other contacts. Click here to find out more.

In 1997 Tony Blair told us that we had 24 hours to save the NHS. There are many in the Medical profession who believe we are on the way to Privatisation. Does the Oxygen experience teach us anything about this? Can David Cameron or Gordon Brown offer us anything different. We are due for yet another re-organisation of Hospitals and so the question for Londoners will be "Who will be running the Super Clinics?"

Personal Testimony - The people who have been using this service and the analyses of their issues and progress. We have not had so many people contact us recently and so is it a case of improvements or resignation to your lot? Click here to find out more.

We have been told that You just have to Ask by Air Products and some people have asked and have got Liquid Oxygen. So ask and let us know how you get on?

Liquid Oxygen, Conserving devices, Portable Concentrators. What is available and what are the pluses and minuses. In reality cylinders such as the Freedom 300 may be an improvement on the previous NHS offerings, but the best option available is to get Liquid Oxygen. But somehow there are excuses as to why people don't get it.  Click here for more detail. Are you Plumbed in? Is your Concentrator connected in such a way to enable you to fully enjoy your home? When I first went on Oxygen in 1999 Vitalair came and ensured that i could have Oxygen all around my own house. Click here to see more.
So who deserves credit? The CF Trust and members have taken a pro-active approach and have tried their best. Our contributors have helped along with the BBC for the Watchdog program. The Pharmacists in the PCT's along with others who worked hard to help Patients. Those staff members who have worked silly hours to get out supplies. The Local Press who found stories in their own community.

The Home Oxygen Service so far and the Campaign. What are the pluses and the minuses. Call Centres and Service issues and what needs to be done to improve the service. We have written to many people to raise awareness and have visited Parliament. Our main correspondence included analyses and suggestions, as well as making points about the Privatisation. Click here for the detail.

We welcome suggestions and contacts from supporters.

Many thanks to all who have contacted us also to the hard working people within some PCT's who have come to the rescue whenever needed. Also local press people deserve
