This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.

  • On June 5th our summer Market took place.
  • On November 21st we had a Quiz night which was fun and raised money for our Zimbabwe Charities. 
  • On September 6th we welcomed our new minister Jen Smith with an Induction service.
  • We have also provided some support to the Fikelele HIV Charity in South Africa.
  • The Minibus has been purchased to support the Healing Touch School in India. 
  • Revd. Dr. Jennifer Smith has been appointed to the Ealing Trinity Circuit to look after Ealing Green from September 2009 with other circuit related duties including training. 
  • 3 members of the Council recently attended a conference of URC/Methodist LEP's which was very interesting as it shows that Strengths and Weaknesses of our situation are shared by other Churches. A worthwhile day.
  •  Colin Paige is welcomed onto the Church Council along with the return of Martin Sarbicki.
  • Social events for the new year include a Quiz and Barn Dance.
  • Rev Tony Hawes of St Andrews URC will have Pastoral oversight until the new minister starts next september.
  • Our next Church Meeting will be on the 16th November after the Service. Potentially our Stationing Visit could be on either the 6th or 13th December.
  • Our Mission to India will happen in November 2008 when 4 Church Members will visit a project near Chenai.
  • There will be a circuit service at Hanwell on 7th September at 3:00 pm to welcome the new Superintendent Minister Rev Michaela Youngson.
  • Our latest magazine is now available on line. We will in future keep an archive on line.
  • We will have a circuit service on 28th September at 6:30 to say farewell to Alan as he departs to Northampton.
  • The Zimbabwe mission has been supporting various charities in that troubled country that also remains a big part of our prayer.
  • Our Summer Fair was on Saturday 7th June  between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Supporting Alzheimer's, Zimbabwe and Burma Relief.
  • Our minister Alan launched his book 'The Promise of Peace - A Unified Theory of Atonement' on November 11th 2006 at the Church.
  • From the Soul in Ealing initiative Ealing Green along with other churches is getting involved in a Debt Counselling service to help the community. Given the pressures of modern life this is a positive step for the church to reach out to people in need. The Debt counselling has now started and is organised by Christians against Poverty.
  • Our own minister Rev Dr Alan Spence will be from April the 1st 2006 looking after a URC Church in Hounslow and will no longer look after Acton Hill.

  • The players will be put on The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe in February 2006 which was a great success, am awaiting news of the next triumph.
  • Two recent social events included a Quiz evening that was enjoyable and raised money for charity. We also had an evening of Jazz music from our very own Jazz Singer Janine Jackson. 
  • Colin Pratt our very good friend left Moulin House to retire to France and had his farewell service at Ealing Green on the 27th November 2005 at Ealing Green as an Advent service.
  • The Soul in Ealing big event took place on Saturday 20th August in Dean Gardens Park West Ealing as a Christian initiative as part of Soul in the City to help re-generate run down parts of our City. To help lift our youth is the purpose.
  • The Summer Fair on the 18th June 2005 raised money for Meadow House Hospice, St John's Soup Kitchen and National Children's Homes. It was a fun day with our South African members providing Hot Dogs with their own meat. Many CD's, Videos, Books, Bric-a-Brac were sold on this hot day.
  •  Hanwell Methodist Church said goodbye to the Rev. Dorothy Lloyd Williams who retired on the 10th July 2005 with a Circuit Service.
