Ealing Green Players are an Amateur Dramatic Group that
has been going for 77 years now and over the years has performed many enjoyable
plays. The Hall at the back of the Church is used as their theatre. The Group
include Church members but is welcome to all who want to join in. A lot of fun
has been enjoyed over the years by both Players and Audience with Wind in the
Willows and many other enjoyable plays. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
in February 2006 was a great success with some new Actors and other people
involved. So Narnia came to our Church Hall. In April 2007 The Cradle Song
will be coming to Ealing Green. The Cradle Song was written over 100 years ago
and takes place in the Convent of a closed order of Dominican Nuns.
Bright Hour This is a weekly piece of stimulation at 2:30 on a
Monday and is usually a talk given by either a Visitor or Church member about
travel or any other subject. Talks from young volunteers who have worked in Africa along with holiday
experiences are all part of it.
Phoenix Luncheon Club This Luncheon club is on Thursday Lunchtime.
For pensioners fellowship and a good lunch all welcome.
Choir The Choir is a long established group with a great love of music. They are Church members who practise every Friday.
Bible Study and House Groups Various groups meet at members houses to study various topics in the bible and how they relate to our lives today.
Junior Church For our young people there is an activity where they go out during the Church service to learn at their pace.
Junior Church members will sometimes take part in services
Picnics and BBQs Each year we have a Picnic in the summer with Cricket and fun in the park as a church family. Also there are Barbeques held where
the proceeds go to charity.
Fitness A Children's fitness group was recently started in conjunction with the YMCA.
Walks For others we have had
a few Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday walks along the Thames and other places.
Football The international football team of our younger members plays in a local Christian league
